Admission Requirements

For Junior Secondary School (JSS1 - JSS3)

  1. Age Requirement: Applicants should generally be between 10–15 years old for JSS 1 Admission

  2. Primary School Leaving Certificate: Evidence of completing primary school education.

  3. Entrance Examination: Pass the school’s entrance examination, which often tests English, Mathematics, and General Knowledge.

  4. Birth Certificate: A valid birth certificate to confirm the student’s age.

  5. Passport Photographs: 2-4 recent passport-sized photographs.

  6. Transfer Certificate: If the student is transferring from another school, a transfer certificate is required.

  7. Medical Report: A basic health screening report or immunization records.

  8. Parent/Guardian Contact Information: Phone numbers and addresses for communication.

In addition to our regular termly assessments, we ensure that our students are thoroughly prepared for various key external examinations, setting them up for academic success at national and international levels. These include:

  1. Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) – Commonly referred to as the Junior WAEC, this exam is taken at the end of Basic 9 (JSS3) and marks the completion of junior secondary education.

  2. West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) – Conducted by WAEC, this exam is taken at the end of Senior Secondary School (SS3) and is a major requirement for university admission in Nigeria and several West African countries.

  3. National Senior School Certificate Examination (NSSCE) – Administered by NECO, this is another key examination taken at the end of Senior Secondary School (SS3), offering students an additional opportunity to qualify for higher education.

  4. Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) – Organized by JAMB, this exam is taken by students in SS3 and is a critical step for gaining admission into Nigerian universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education.

  5. Other International and National Exams – Depending on students’ goals, we also provide guidance and preparation for additional exams such as the GCE (WAEC/NECO), TOEFL, IELTS, and other standardized tests required for study abroad or professional certification.
